A Christmas break to the enchanting Cotswolds, famous for fine landscapes, gently undulating hills and picturesque villages. Enjoy a visit to the spectacular city of Bath with its wealth of magnificent Georgian architecture . You’ll be staying in the 4-Star Blundson House Hotel, set in extensive grounds on the edge of the Cotswolds.

 

BLUNSDON HOUSE HOTEL (4 Star)

A very popular family run hotel located in its own extensive grounds on the edge of the Cotswolds. Facilities include two restaurants and a choice of three bars, plus leisure facilities with indoor pool, spa, sauna, steam rooms, gym, tennis and a golf course. All bedrooms feature power shower & bathrobe, flat screen TV, internet access, hairdryer, telephone, minibar and tea /coffee facilities. Lift to all floors.

 

ITINERARY

Day One: We begin our journey to Blunsdon, with afternoon tea and coffee on arrival. Some free time then to settle in and make use of the hotel’s excellent leisure facilities. A sumptuous buffet will be served in the evening, followed by live entertainment in Carrie’s Bar.

 

Day Two: This morning join us on a visit to the magnificent Georgian city of Bath to explore its iconic attractions and architecture. This evening, enjoy a glass of bubbly before dinner and meet the hotel staff who will be taking care of you during your Christmas stay. This is followed by dinner then live entertainment in Carrie’s Bar. At midnight should you wish to you can attend a midnight communion at St Leonard’s Church if you wish, which is approximately a half-mile walk into the village.

 

Day Three: After breakfast relax in the hotel with Santa making an appearance with gifts in the late morning! Enjoy a complimentary drink before the traditional Christmas lunch is served. After lunch, relax and watch the Queen’s Speech or perhaps take a stroll around the extensive hotel grounds. This evening, a buffet will be served, followed by more live entertainment.

 

Day Four: Enjoy a leisurely brunch, followed by a journey into the Cotswolds to visit Bourton-on-the-Water, voted as one of the prettiest villages in England and also known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, with its bridges crossing the River Windrush. After dinner, enjoy fun and games and a disco in Carrie’s Bar.

 

Day Five: After breakfast, we depart the hotel and begin our journey home to North Wales.
