If youre looking for a break that combines spectacular scenery, famous castles with Royal connections and a visit to a dynamic city, then this is the tour for you. Dundee is compact city that is not only Scotlands sunniest city, is it also a UNESCO City of Design and home to the V&A Dundee, the world's only V&A museum outside of London. We explore Royal Deeside in the magnificent Cairngorms with a visit to Balmoral Castle, the Scottish holiday home of the Royal Family. You will also spend some time St. Andrews, home to one of the most famous golf courses in the world and where Prince William and Kate Middleton met whist studying at the university.
Set in its own grounds on the outskirts of Dundee, this historical and traditional Scottish mansion house, built in 1870 has been tastefully extended to an excellent hotel. All bedrooms feature television, radio, telephone, Wi-Fi, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, safe, and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel also features a restaurant overlooking the gardens, bar area with lounge plus a leisure club with indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and fitness centre.

Day One
We travel north through the Scottish Borders and on to the city of Dundee where we commence our four night stay at the Landmark Hotel Dundee
DDay Two
We spend the day in Dundee where you will have plenty of time to explore this compact city. We would definitely recommend that you wonder down to the revitalised waterfront and visit Discovery Point, the award-winning attraction which tells the story of RRS Discovery and Captain Scott's amazing Antarctic expedition. After your visit you should also pop next door and explore the exciting V&A Dundee.
B, DDay Three
Today we are joined by a local guide as we travel through the magnificent scenery of Royal Deeside for a visit to Balmoral Castle, The Queen's Royal Residence and described by Queen Victoria as 'my dear paradise in the Highlands'. During the day we will also enjoy free time in the riverside Deeside town of Ballater.
B, DDay Four
We visit the town of St Andrews where Prince William and Kate Middleton met whist studying at the university. Described as one of Europe's finest towns St Andrews has its place in history, a lovely coastal resort that is home to the world's most famous golf course. We continue along the coast though the pretty fishing villages of Crail and Anstruther before returning to the hotel late afternoon.
B, DDay Five
This morning we check out of the Landmark Hotel and commence our journey to North Wales
