We head to Clansman Harbour for a relaxing cruise to absorb the breath-taking vista of the loch in all its natural wonder. We then drive on to the popular tourist town of Inverness, the bustling capital of the Highland region. The River Ness flows majestically through the centre of this attractive town which is overlooked by its 19th century castle.
Day Three: This morning we head towards Aviemore and board the Strathspey Railway for a steam train ride through spectacular Speyside scenery. Admire the everchanging landscape as we journey alongside heather-clad moors, the ancient Caledonian forest and the River Spey, before we reach Broomhill. We will then board the coach and travel to the Speyside Cooperage, the only family-owned working cooperage in the UK which continues to produce whisky casks.
Day Four: We take a drive through the Cairngorms National Park to the Reindeer Centre. Home to Britains only free-ranging herd of reindeer the centre provides a fantastic opportunity to get up close and learn all about these fascinating animals.
