Recharge your batteries on a getaway to the world-renowned Cote dAzur, home to impossibly beautiful coastlines nestled along the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Our base for this holiday is picturesque Nice, an elegant resort set in a stunning seaside location blessed with glorious Mediterranean sunshine and an abundance of things to do. You can indulge in fantastic shopping along Rue de France, wander through the quaint narrow streets of the charming Old Town or head up to Castle Hill for breath-taking views over the city. Well also take a drive along the coast to Cannes, explore world-famous Monaco and discover the delightful hilltop village of St-Paul de Vence.

Return Eurotunnel journeys
Early departure for our journey south to Folkestone and through the Eurotunnel to Calais, then on to the pretty medieval town of Troyes in northern France for an overnight stay.
This morning we continue our southbound journey via Lyon and Marseilles to the beautiful resort of Nice in the stunning Côte d‘Azur.
Enjoy a day at leisure in Nice. Perhaps soak up the Mediterranean sunshine and breath-taking views with a walk along the promenade, then settle down in one of the countless cosy bistros and sample some of the region’s gastronomic delights. There are also some excellent museums and galleries to discover, or you might choose to browse the chic boutique shops.
Today we travel along the coast to glamourous Cannes, famous the world over for the glitz and glamour of its annual Film Festival. You may wish to wander up to the delightful old town from where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views, or meander along the beautiful palm-lined Boulevard de La Croisette, flanked on one side by the glorious sandy beach and inviting beachfront restaurants, and grand luxury hotels and designer boutiques on the other.B
We travel along the scenic Corniche Coast Road for a visit to glamourous Monaco, renowned as one of the world's most famous playgrounds for the rich and famous, synonymous with luxury and sophistication. Monaco is a tiny principality perched on top of a cliff with the opulence of Monte Carlo spread below. Here you can explore the quaint cobbled streets, visit the late Prince Rainier’s Palace where a Changing of the Guard Ceremony takes place daily, admire the magnificent yachts in the harbour or maybe try your luck in the casino. Don’t forget to look out for the starting grid of the famous Monaco Grand Prix!B
Following breakfast we venture inland from the French Riviera into traditional Provence, and soak up the epic scenery from the splendid medieval hilltop village of St-Paul de Vence. Stroll through the historic cobbled lanes, explore the dozens of art galleries, and perhaps enjoy a glass of Provençal wine and some lunch at one of the stylish cafés. We’ll then return to Nice where the remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure.
We bid farewell to Nice this morning and travel back to Troyes where we have an overnight stay.B
Today we continue north to Calais for our return Eurotunnel journey to Folkestone and on home to North Wales.
