St Patricks Day in Killarney

St Patricks Day in Killarney

Celebrate St Patrick's Day in Killarney, which hosts one of the most colourful St Patrick's Day parades and a fun festival full of street music and dance.

St Patrick's Day  is the biggest day in Ireland's cultural calendar, celebrated in big cities and small towns alike with parades, "the wearing of the green," and a wonderful party atmosphere. The delightful town of Killarney is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Ireland and hosts one of the most colourful St Patrick’s parades with a fun festival combining street music and dance in a fabulous emerald green event.

Situated in the centre of town, the four star Killarney Towers is in a prime location for exploring. Facilities include restaurant and bar, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. All bedrooms feature satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, iron and board, plus tea/coffee making facilities. Lift to all floors.

Day One: We travel across Anglesey to Holyhead for our ferry crossing to Dublin, then continue via Portlaoise and Limerick to Killarney for check in to the Killarney Towers Hotel.

Day Two: A day at leisure to relax and explore this bustling little town. You may wish to take a cruise on the lake or perhaps take a ‘jaunting car’ ride. In the afternoon enjoy the ‘craic’, the celebrations and the great atmosphere when the St Patrick’s Day Parade commences.

Day Three: Today we take a tour around the spectacular ‘Ring of Kerry’, regarded as the most beautiful and renowned day tour in the whole of Ireland. We follow the coast road around the Iveragh Peninsula and pass through constantly changing vistas of beautiful seascapes, mountains, beaches and cliffs.

Day Four: We travel back to Dublin for the afternoon ferry sailing to Holyhead and home.
