Swansea & The Royal Mint

Located on the majestic five-mile sweep of Swansea Bay and known as the 'city by the sea', Swansea is Wales' second largest city, boasting an award winning Marina and Maritime Quarter.

Known as the ‘City by the Sea,’ Swansea is the second largest city in Wales sitting on the majestic five-mile sweep of Swansea Bay. The city has evolved rapidly in recent years; the centre has extended seaward into the award-winning Marina and Maritime Quarter, where you'll find attractions including the Swansea Museum, the Dylan Thomas Centre and the National Waterfront Museum - an interactive interpretation of Wales' industry and innovation. This landmark building is a magnificent fusion of Welsh slate, glass and steel, with a canopied street of cafes and shops overlooking the marina waterfront.
