Alvaston is a delightful half-timbered Victorian country house located five minutes from the old Cheshire riverside town of Nantwich and close to the splendid cathedral city of Chester.
Join us for a break to the Warner Alvaston Hall Hotel in Cheshire, a delightful half-timbered Victorian country house, located on the outskirts of the riverside town of Nantwich. The magnificent entrance and reception hall features a superb stained-glass window and a large fireplace enlivened with Italian ironwork and there are delightful Elizabethan panelling and ceilings. At Alvaston the emphasis is on great food, excellent indoor and outdoor facilities plus live entertainment every night with music, dancing and comedy all exclusively for adults. The hotel is a picturesque medley of architectural styles and has recently had £12m invested and offers refurbished bedrooms and a new Cabaret Diner.
Situated within its own grounds Alvaston Hall is a grade II listed Victorian property. Facilities include a nine hole golf course, putting green, all weather bowls, a great new cabaret restaurant, plus swimming pool, steam room, sauna and spa. Chester is home to the unique 13th Century rows, half-timbered galleried shops, the famous Eastgate Clock, the largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain plus a glorious cathedral. (£10.00 per person)B, D

Enjoy an excursion to Shrewsbury, one of England's finest medieval market towns. The town centre is packed with characterful timber-framed black & white buildings and quaint narrow streets, plus over 600 listed buildings including the castle, now a regimental museum. The historic centre is a shoppers heaven packed with designer shops, malls and a great range of independent retailers. Perhaps take a stroll along the river through the beautiful Quarry Park then enjoy lunch in one of the many cafe's and restaurants. (£20.00 per person)B, D

We visit Liverpool where you'll have some free time for shopping or sightseeing. Maybe take a Magical Mystery Tour, pay a visit to the Albert Dock which is home to the Beatles Story among many other museums, explore the city’s cathedrals or take a cruise on the Mersey and enjoy impressive views of the city skyline..
