Historic features include the Grand Hall and sweeping staircase, plus the stunning oak panelled dining room. Next to the hotel is Cricket St. Thomas Lakes and Gardens attraction which guests are free to explore. There are ample facilities to enjoy during your stay, or you may wish to join us for a day out on on one of our optional excursions.



With views of the Somerset countryside, this Regency style elegant mansion is set within 160 acres of glorious landscaped gardens and parkland. Facilities include live nightly entertainment in the Pavilion Cabaret Room, heated indoor pool and spa pool, sauna, steam room and fitness studio, bowleasy, Decleor health & beauty therapies, pool table, snooker & darts, table tennis, boules, fun croquet, cycle hire, freshwater angling, library - Old House, The Terrace Room coffee shop and Pavilion bar.

Day One

We travel south via the motorways to Somerset and the Warner Leisure Hotel at Cricket St Thomas where we stay for the next four nights.

Enjoy a day at leisure to unwind and make use of the superb leisure facilities or maybe participate in some of the excellent activities that are available during your stay

Optional Excursion A

Join us on a morning visit to Dorchester and its lovely medieval centre, the home of the famous writer and poet Thomas Hardy who featured the area in many of his novels. In the afternoon we continue on to the popular resort of Weymouth with its fine Georgian seafront buildings and a long arc of golden sands. Attractions here include the 17th century waterfront, Radipole Lake, the sea life centre, Nothe Fort, Greenhill Gardens, plus the Brewers Quay with its craft and antique shops. (£12.00 per person)

Optional Excursion B

Join us as we travel to Lyme Regis, an unspoiled historic seaside resort and fishing port on the famous Cobb harbour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its geology and fossils. From here we continue on to the elegant resort of Sidmouth, described as the quintessential English seaside resort and a previous winner of a gold award in a Britain in Bloom competition. Sidmouth is a lovely unspoilt resort with fine Regency architecture, an elegant promenade and red sandstone cliffs all overlooking the waters of Lyme Bay. (£12.00 per person)

Following breakfast this morning we check out and depart from the hotel to commence our journey home to North Wales.
