Surrounding the main house are the formal gardens which were restored to their original design. Holme Lacy also features a great range of facilities and activities which include a leisure centre with heated pool, sauna & steam room, tennis courts, outdoor bowls green, archery, freshwater angling, cycle hire plus a library, a choice of three Restaurants, Terrace Room coffee shop and the Pavilion bar.

WARNER HOLME LACY HERITAGE HOTEL (4 STAR)

Set in the heart of the Wye Valley near Hereford, this fabulous country mansion combines graceful grandeur with a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. A grade I listed building, dating back to the 17th century, with high ceiling halls, stunning staircases and drawing rooms. All of the en suite bedrooms feature television, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities.

 

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

  • We travel through the Malvern Hills and visit the lovely city of Worcester with its rich history, culture and architecture. Places to visit include the cathedral, the Royal Worcester porcelain Museum, the magnificent 18th century Guildhall and the timber framed Greyfriar’s Merchants house, dating back to 1480. (£15.00 per person)

 

  • Join us on an excursion to the Cathedral city of Hereford, know for its relaxing market town feel. Not only can you visit the many independant shops in the historical centre, Hereford is home to many attractions which include the Hereford Museum & Art Gallery, the Old House Museum and you must visit the 13th Century Mappa Mundi, the largest medieval map, located in the magnificent Cathedral. (£6.00 per person)

 

  • We travel to Gloucester Quays, not only known for the historic docks development with its Victorian warehouses, now home to museums, arts, crafts and antique centres, it also combines fine heritage with the latest in contemporary designer shopping. (£15.00 per person)
