Surrounding the main house are the formal gardens which were restored to their original design. Holme Lacy also features a great range of facilities and activities which include a leisure centre with heated pool, sauna & steam room, tennis courts, outdoor bowls green, archery, freshwater angling, cycle hire plus a library, a choice of three Restaurants, Terrace Room coffee shop and the Pavilion bar.

We travel via the North Wales coast to Wrexham, then on to Shrewsbury where we have some time for lunch. In the afternoon we continue on to the outskirts of Hereford and the Warner Holme Lacy House where we stay for the next four nights.D

The city is home to many attractions which include the Hereford Museum and Art Gallery, the Old House Museum and the Cathedral which houses the Mappa Mundi, one of Britain's finest treasures and the largest medieval map constructed on a single sheet of vellum. Optional Excursion B
Today our optional excursion takes us to Gloucester, a historic waterfront city that combines fine heritage with the latest in contemporary designer shopping at Gloucester Quays. Other attractions include the Waterways Museum, the medieval cathedral plus the historic docks development with its Victorian warehouses, now home to museums, arts, crafts and antiques centres. (£15.00 per person).B, D
Optional Excursion C
Join us on our optional excursion as we travel via the Malvern Hills and visit the lovely city of Worcester with its rich history, culture and architecture. There are some fascinating places to visit including the majestic cathedral, Royal Worcester Porcelain's Museum, the magnificent 18th century Guildhall and the timber framed Greyfriars Merchants house, dating back to 1480. (£15.00 per person).B, D
This morning we check-out of the hotel and board the coach for our return journey home to North Wales.B
