Day One

Our journey south towards Cardiff takes us via Shrewsbury, Hereford, Ross on Wye, Monmouth and Newport, arriving in Cardiff early afternoon for check in to the Hilton Cardiff Hotel.

Day Two

Enjoy day at leisure in Cardiff to explore the compact and friendly city centre. You may like to visit the castle with its Norman Mote and tower, and the fine 19th century state apartments. Relax with a stroll through Bute Park or why not hop on a local bus and visit the nearby St. Fagans National Museum of History that showcases historic buildings relocated from across Wales.

For shoppers you must wonder through the near kilometre long traditional arcades, dating back to Victorian and Edwardian times. Inside you can find independent shops, family-run cafes and cute boutiques. Cardiff also has a great choice of high-end stores and well-known brands in the large modern shopping centre, St David's, just five minutes walk from the hotel.

Why not join a guided tour of the Principality Stadium or maybe take a boat trip down to Cardiff Bay where you can enjoy a meal in one of the many waterside restaurants, have a look inside the famous Wales Millennium Centre, take in the iconic Senedd building or simply enjoy a walk along the barrage to Penarth for a lovely view of Cardiff Bay.
