This Funtastic overnight break offers a great opportunity to enjoy a weekend with your family and friends, at two of the UKs most popular family attractions - Drayton Manor Theme Park, Thomas Land & Zoo, plus the West Midlands Safari Park. Set in 280 acres of parkland and lakes, Drayton Manor Theme Park is home to some of the wettest and scariest rides in the UK. With over 100 rides and attractions, Europes only Thomas Land plus a 15-acre on-site zoo, you can be sure to find something for the whole family to enjoy! West Midlands Safari Park is the home of some of the worlds most beautiful and exotic animals, so here we will enjoy a day getting up close to all these amazing animals that you will never forget. Also included are wristbands allowing access into the 28 rides and attractions also on the site. Plummet 30m back to earth on Venom Tower Drop or get totally soaked on the Wild River Rafting and the Zambezi Water Splash! There is even a Tiny Tots Theme Park with a selection of rides and attractions designed for younger children.
The Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Airport is a modern hotel located on the outskirts of Birmingham near to Birmingham Airport. Facilities include the Odyssey Bar & Bistro, bar & lounge area. Day One
After boarding our coach we head to the Drayton Manor Theme Park at Tamworth to enjoy a host of great rides and attractions including some of the biggest, wettest, and scariest rides around. Enjoy getting soaked on Stormforce 10, widely regarded as the best water ride in the country or maybe Apocalypse is more your thing, the world’s first stand up tower drop which plummets 54 feet at exhilarating speed! There are also plenty of more family orientated rides too, including the Drunken Barrels and the Haunting. For the younger one’s there is an array of kiddies rides and attractions including Thomas Land, a theme park set in 6,000 square metres that’s dedicated to everybody’s favourite little blue engine, as well as the on-site 15 acre zoo, where you can get up close to some of your favourite animals including tigers, monkeys, chimpanzees and leopards.
Day Two
After breakfast we check out of our hotel and travel to West Midlands Safari Park in Bewdley, where we will begin with a drive around the 4-mile Safari Park, home to the southern white rhino, elegant giraffes, powerful tigers, African elephants, plus many more from onboard our coach. You can then enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the Discovery Trail, where you can visit a variety of species and watch informative animal encounters, talks & shows. Here you can also get up close and personal to amazing red pandas in their new Red Panda Retreat, and see their newest young red panda explore her new surroundings. Other attractions include the Penguin Cove, Sea Lion Theatre, The Aquarium and Creep Crawlies just to name a few! As well as the animal park, also included are wristbands, allowing access to the 28 rides and attractions to enjoy with something to suit the whole family. We depart mid-afternoon and return to North Wales
