TEN SQUARE HOTEL

The luxurious Ten Square Hotel occupies a mid-19th century former linen warehouse and situated directly behind City Hall, meaning the location is as good as it gets and only a short distance to many of the city’s visitor attractions. The recently refurbished bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, television, radio, Wi-fi, hairdryer, telephone, iron & board plus tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel also features a steakhouse restaurant, spacious bar & lounge, relaxing rooftop bar plus traditional style pub. Lift to all floors.

Please note for this departure we are currently scheduled to travel on the 20:30 return ferry crossing from Dublin, arriving into Holyhead at 00:01.

Day One

We travel to Holyhead for our Irish Sea crossing to Dublin Port, then continue north to Belfast where we commence our stay at the Ten Square Hotel

Day Two

We travel into Belfast for a guided tour of the city sights and famous landmarks followed by a visit to the Titanic Experience, a state-of-the-art visitor attraction telling the story of the Titanic, from her conception in Belfast to her famous maiden voyage and tragic end.

Day Three

Today we head to Derry where on arrival we meet a guide for a walking tour of the city. We then board our train from Derry for a spectacular journey to Coleraine, described by Michael Palin as ‘one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world’. The track runs alongside a beach on one side whilst opposite we pass the Downhill Cliffs.

Day Four

Today we take a spectacular drive along the Antrim Coast to reach the Bushmills Distillery, the oldest whiskey producer in Ireland. Enjoy an interesting guided tour followed by a tasting! In the afternoon we visit the extraordinary Giant’s Causeway geological site, an area of interlocking basalt columns formed as a result of an ancient volcanic eruption. The mystery and stories of the landscape are explained in the award winning Visitor Centre.

Day Five

We check out and head south to Dublin for our return sailing to Holyhead and home to North Wales.

Please note for our tour departing on Monday 26 August 2024 we are currently scheduled to travel on the 20:30 return ferry crossing from Dublin, arriving into Holyhead at 00:01. We will now be leaving Belfast around midday on the 30 August for our journey to Dublin, where, upon arrival, you will have some free time to explore Ireland's capital city during the afternoon before boarding our evening ferry crossing back to Holyhead.
