Tatton Park Christmas Mansion & Festive Cruise
Join us for a delightful overnight getaway to the vibrant city of Manchester, and let the festive spirit envelop you. This enchanting overnight break is designed to immerse you in the joyful ambiance of the festive season, ensuring that you'll be brimming with the true 'Christmas Mood.' Explore the famous Manchester Christmas Markets, indulge in a three-course festive lunch cruise through the vibrant city centre canals, plus, visit the spectacular Tatton Park Mansion and Gardens that will be specially decorated for Christmas.
This year, the Mansion will be transformed into the wonderful world of the Wizard of Oz. Each state room will be immersed in decorations, lights, and music that will guide you down the yellow brick road, with familiar costumed characters to meet along the way and a sweet treat waiting at the end of the rainbow.
During our visit the highly popular Gift Fare will be taking place inside the grand Mansion's Tenants' Hall, providing a unique shopping experience and the perfect place to find those special Christmas gifts. There'll be lots of local suppliers, some selling handcrafted items including Jewellery, candles, crafts and Gin, not usually found on high street!

The Hilton Doubletree Manchester Piccadilly is located in the heart of the city centre just a short walking distance to the shopping areas and city centre attractions. Day One
We travel to Manchester where we board our cruiser for a festive lunch cruise along the Manchester canals. We begin at Castlefield and journey along the Manchester Ship Canal to Salford Quays and the upper reaches of the canal. Throughout the cruise you can enjoy a festive three course lunch complimented by live commentary from the captain giving interesting and historical facts about the canals and landmarks along the route. Following our cruise we make the short journey to our hotel. The remainder of the evening will be at leisure to explore the Manchester Christmas Market.
Day Two
This morning, enjoy some time at leisure in Manchester before we travel to Tatton Park. This Christmas the mansion is transformed into the wonderful world of the Wizard of Oz. Step into this magical Christmas Mansion where you will be entertained by charming characters along the way and enjoy the festive illuminated displays as you marvel at the State Rooms and servants' quarters decorated for Christmas. During our visit the highly popular Gift Fair will be taking place where you will be sure to find the perfect Christmas gift!
