Day One

We make our way south to Bridgnorth, Shropshire, where we board the Severn Valley Railway train for a picturesque journey through the Severn Valley countryside, passing through charming villages and towns to Kidderminster. From here, we continue our journey to the picturesque county of Cambridgeshire, arriving at the Delta Hotels Huntingdon, where we will settle in for the next three nights.

Day Two

Today we travel to Sandringham for the RHS Sandringham Flower Show, an exciting new RHS event set within the magnificent grounds of the royal family's private estate. Discover coastal-inspired show gardens, impressive fruit and vegetable competitions and stunning floral displays, all nestled in a charming countryside setting. Pick up expert gardening tips from the Long Borders, explore innovative climate-friendly ideas at the Grow Forward Gardens and enjoy a timeless picnic on the lawn, all while soaking in the beauty of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla's cherished retreat.

Day Three

We travel to Cambridge, a city brimming with history and culture. The renowned University and its iconic colleges dominate the city centre, showcasing magnificent architecture, with the crowning jewel being the world-famous King's College Chapel. Explore fascinating museums such as the Scott Polar Museum and the Museum of Zoology or Punting Tour along the picturesque River Cam. Perhaps enjoy a leisurely stroll through streets lined with independent boutiques and popular high street shops.

Day Four

We depart our hotel and travel to the medieval market town of Shrewsbury for a sightseeing cruise on the River Severn. Enjoy an informative commentary from the skipper as you glide past landmarks such as the Welsh Bridge and Shrewsbury Castle. We depart mid-afternoon and return to North Wales.
