Explore the idyllic riverside towns of Henley-on-Thames and Marlow, where a relaxing river cruise in Marlow offers breathtaking views of this picturesque region. We will also discover the iconic city of Oxford, the renowned City of Dreaming Spires. Here, you will have time to explore its world-famous attractions, including the historic colleges of the University of Oxford, the Bodleian Library and the Ashmolean Museum. Additionally, we visit the Milestones Living Museum, a historical village which relives the living history of war and post war era. Wander through meticulously recreated streets and shops, marvel at vintage vehicles and engage with interactive exhibits that offer a vivid glimpse into everyday life of the past. The Hilton Reading is modern and contemporary hotel situated on the outskirts of Reading. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, television, telephone, mini bar, iron / ironing board, hairdryer and tea / coffee making facilities. The hotel also features a restaurant and bar plus a leisure club with indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Lift to all floors.

Day One
We travel south to the Milestones living history museum in Basingstoke. Wander down cobbled streets and chat with staff in period costumes, take a trip back in time to late 1800s and 1900s streets with shops, factories, houses and vintage vehicles. We depart the museum late afternoon and continue our journey to the Hilton Reading Hotel located on the outskirts of Reading where we stay for the next two nights.
DDay Two
This morning we visit to the charming waterfront town of Marlow with its historic suspension bridge and fine Georgian buildings. After some time to look around, enjoy a short cruise on the river Thames to Temple lock. This afternoon, we make our way to the riverside town of Henley on Thames, considered as one of the most beautiful English market towns with its quaint streets lined with independent shops and cafes. Browse the shops, take a leisurely stroll along the Thames Path or explore local history at the River & Rowing Museum, featuring fascinating exhibits.
B, DDay Three
We check out of our hotel and travel to the historic city of Oxford where a treasure trove of delightful historic buildings awaits, showcasing some of England's most remarkable architecture. You may choose to embark on a city bus tour for a panoramic view, partake in a guided walking tour to delve into the city's secrets or even opt for a serene sightseeing riverboat excursion. We depart from Oxford this afternoon and continue our homeward journey.
