The Glasgow Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is a four-star hotel set in peaceful countryside at conveniently located between Glasgow and Edinburgh. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with a TV, Wi-Fi, desk, safe, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, plus tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel features a heated indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, spa, sauna and steam room, plus two restaurants and a bar. Lift available to all rooms.

While every effort will be made to operate the planned sailing, the Waverley Steam Navigation Company may need to alter, postpone or cancel the sailing if conditions are considered unsuitable or unsafe. Should the sailing be cancelled or significantly altered due to weather or other operational circumstances, we will make every effort to provide a suitable alternative arrangement.
Day One
We head north through the Scottish Border Region and to the outskirts of Glasgow where we stay at the Glasgow Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Resort for the next three nights. There will be time to settle into your rooms or perhaps make use of the leisure facilities before our evening meal.
DDay Two
Today is the highlight of the holiday as we step aboard the magnificent Waverley, the world's last seagoing paddle steamer, for a nostalgic and scenic 8-hour round trip from Glasgow to Rothesay on the beautiful Isle of Bute. Enjoy wonderful views along the River Clyde and across the Firth of Clyde towards the coast and islands beyond. Watch the historic steam engine power the famous paddle wheels, relax on deck and soak up the scenery, or enjoy a bite to eat in the dining saloon, a drink in the Talisman Bar or browse the gift shop. On arrival back in Glasglow we rejoin the coach and return to our hotel.
B, DDay Three
This morning we enjoy a guided tour of the Kelpies, Scotland's iconic 30-metre-high horse-head sculptures and one of the country's most impressive feats of engineering. Discover the fascinating story behind these magnificent structures and the important role horses played in Scotland's industrial heritage. We then continue to the Falkirk Wheel Visitor Centre, where we enjoy a journey on the world's only rotating boat lift in action. Built to reconnect the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals, the remarkable wheel lifts boats 35 metres between the two waterways, creating a unique and memorable experience.
B, DDay Four
This morning after a leisurely breakfast, we check out from the Glasgow Westerwood Hotel and begin our journey home to North Wales
