Day One
Our adventure begins with an early departure as we head south to Dover where we board a ferry to cross the Channel to Calais. Upon arrival in we continue along the French autoroutes to the historic city of Reims, for our first overnight stay.
Day Two
We continue our journey through France and Switzerland to the lakeside city of Lucerne, for our second overnight stay. Spectacularly situated among stunning mountain views, Lucerne is often considered Switzerland's most beautiful city, full of medieval buildings, charming narrow streets, numerous pavement cafes and many popular sights including the beautiful wooden Chapel Bridge and the impressive octagonal Water Tower. On arrival in Lucerne we enjoy a scenic panoramic cruise on one of Switzerland's most famous lakes, discovering the unparalleled beauty that surrounds us.
BDay Three
Today, we leave Lucerne behind and embark on a journey through the magnificent Swiss Alps, navigating through the renowned Gotthard tunnel, which connects Switzerland to Italy. As we emerge on the other side, we continue our journey through Italy to Lido di Jesolo, a delightful coastal gem on the Adriatic shore.
B, DDay Four
A day of leisure to discover Lido di Jesolo. Perhaps you'll start your day with a tranquil stroll along the shoreline before exploring the charming streets lined with boutiques, where you might discover unique souvenirs or fashionable finds. Why not pause at a local café for a cappuccino or enjoy an authentic gelato while observing the lively atmosphere of this vibrant Italian coastal town
B, DDay Five
Today we set out on an excursion to the timeless city of Venice, Italy's mesmerizing city of canals and history. You'll be enchanted by iconic landmarks such as St. Mark's Basilica, the Rialto Bridge, and the Ducal Palace. Explore winding canals, charming streets, and picturesque bridges, and indulge in the romantic atmosphere of this unique destination. Venice promises a day of timeless beauty and unforgettable memories.
B, DDay Six
This morning we depart on an excursion to the Prosecco wine region, where we'll visit the charming city of Treviso. Wander through its historic centre, where cobbled streets wind past frescoed churches and elegant palaces. Relax at a café in Piazza dei Signori, appreciating the atmosphere of this delightful town.
B, DDay Seven
Today's adventure takes us to Punta Sabbioni where we'll board a boat bound for the renowned Murano, home to some of Italy's most celebrated glass factories. Discover the artistry and craftsmanship of Murano's glassblowers before leisurely exploring the island's unique charm. Our journey then takes us to the picturesque Burano, celebrated for its intricate lacework and strikingly colorful houses
B, DDay Eight
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and say goodbye to Lido Di Jesolo as we begin our Journey home. We make our way back to France, where we'll spend the night in Dijon.
Day Nine
Today we continue our homeward journey as travel to Calais for our return ferry to Dover. From here we join the UK motorway network form the remainder of our drive home to North Wales.
