Day One
We travel south to the lovely historic town of Stratford upon Avon and the centrally located Doubletree by Hilton Stratford where we stay for the next three nights. The afternoon is then free to commence exploring this historic town with its timber-framed buildings steeped in culture and history and offering a wealth of things to see and do.
Day Two
After a leisurely breakfast we depart the hotel and travel to Warwick Castle. Embark on a journey through the castle at the most magical time of the year. Discover twinkling trees, dazzling decorations, and festive touches in the staterooms. Climb the towers and ramparts for a breathtaking panoramic winter view of the grounds and gardens. Enjoy the impressive birds of prey in a wonderful Winter Bird of Prey show or join one of the many history tours available. As dusk falls, prepare to be dazzled by the Warwick Castle Festive Light Trail, where thousands of shimmering lights illuminate the iconic castle grounds.
BDay Three
Today we visit the magnificent Blenheim Palace, one of England's largest houses built in the early 1700s and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. This years' christmas theme is Neverland® in the Palace, a place bursting with magic and make believe. Follow Tinkerbell as she sprinkles fairy dust over baubles and Christmas trees through the State rooms all adorned with festive cheer, and wander through a moonlit London skyline and onto the Mermaid Lagoon.
BDay Four
This morning after breakfast we bid farewell to Stratford and travel north for a visit to the vibrant Birmingham Christmas Market. Birmingham's market is a sprawling spectacle featuring an array of international stalls, crafts, and delectable cuisine. You'll have the opportunity to explore the market's festive offerings before we continue our home ward journey later in the afternoon.
