We also visit the traditional seaside resort of Whitby, the popular market town of Skipton and have an included 24 mile journey through some of Yorkshires amazing scenery on the fantastic North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Enjoy a short break to the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, beautifully adorned with floral displays and renowned for its historic buildings, famous tea-rooms and natural springs. Also included is a journey on the fantastic North Yorkshire Moors Railway, one of the world’s greatest heritage railway experiences. Enjoy the fabulous 24 mile journey while some of Yorkshire’s amazing scenery passes before your eyes. This tour also features some great inclusions at the hotel representing outstanding value for money.



A grand Victorian hotel set in private gardens and just a 5 minute walk from the town centre. Facilities include The Windsor Restaurant, a bar and lounge area plus a gym. Bedrooms are equipped with TV, 24-hour room service, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift to all floors.



Day One: We travel into Yorkshire and on to the picturesque market town of Knaresborough. The town is a delight to explore with its majestic Victorian viaduct, riverside walks, independent shops and medieval Castle. We then continue to Harrogate and check in to the Cairn Hotel.


Day Two: At leisure to discover Harrogate with its beautiful floral displays, atmospheric cafés and green open spaces. You might like to visit the Royal Pump Room Museum for a fascinating insight into Harrogate’s spa history, stroll through the Valley Gardens or watch the world go by in Betty's Tea Rooms. At the stylish Montpellier Quarter you will find an array of exclusive shops, bars and restaurants.


Day Three: Today we travel to Whitby, a traditional seaside resort with Blue Flag beaches, and some of the best fish and chips around. Following some free time to explore, we board the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a scenic journey to Pickering.


Day Four: Following breakfast we check out of the hotel and travel to the popular market town of Skipton with its canal boats and magnificent castle. Now over 900 years old, Skipton Castle is one of the most complete and well preserved medieval castles in England. Here we’ll have some time to explore and have lunch before we depart mid-afternoon for our homeward journey.
