Day One
We make our way south to Shropshire for a visit to Bridgnorth, a delightful town on the banks of the River Severn that divided in two, a high town and low town that are connected with the only inland funicular railway in the UK. After some time to have some lunch and a look around we board the Severn Valley Railway train for a picturesque journey through the Severn Valley countryside, passing through charming villages and towns to Kidderminster. From here, we make our way to Stratford and check-in to our hotel.
Day Two
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore historical Stratford-upon-Avon. Perhaps take a sightseeing tour on an open top bus or a relaxing river cruise along the River Avon, this lovely old town is completed by its timber-framed buildings, steeped in culture and history offering a wealth of things to see and do.
BDay Three
We leave Stratford this morning and head to the Black Country Living Museum, an acclaimed open-air living history museum that is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the industrial heritage and history of the Black Country region. Explore historic buildings, interact with costumed interpreters, and gain insight into life and industry in the area which was once a major industrial hub during the 18th and 19th centuries.
