Once you have boarded our luxury coach at your selected pick-up point, we travel north to Newcastle. We arrive at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead Hotel during the afternoon where there will be some free time to freshen up before traveling to the Beamish Museum for a truly magical Christmas Evening. Step back in time and experience the wonder of Christmas through the ages as Beamish comes alive with festive charm. Wander the beautifully illuminated Edwardian town street, explore traditionally decorated homes and shops and soak up the atmosphere with musicians performing seasonal favourites. Enjoy festive crafts, take a whimsical stroll through Elf Wood and browse the charming 1900s Town market stalls, the nostalgic 1950s toy shop and the museum gift shop for unique Christmas presents. With twinkling lights, costumed characters, delicious seasonal treats and the enchanting atmosphere of this award-winning open-air museum after dark, Beamish offers a nostalgic festive experience that is sure to create lasting Christmas memories.
Day Two
Enjoy a day at leisure to discover the many attractions of Newcastle. During the festive season, the city centre is transformed by its enchanting Christmas Market, where charming wooden chalets are filled with handcrafted gifts, seasonal decorations and tempting festive treats. Browse for unique Christmas presents, warm up with a cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate and soak up the sights, sounds and aromas of the season as twinkling lights and cheerful entertainment create a magical Christmas atmosphere. With plenty of time to explore, you may also wish to stroll along the vibrant Quayside, visit the iconic Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art or discover the city's rich history and impressive architecture.
BDay Three
Following breakfast, we check out of the hotel and head to Manchester to enjoy one of the UK's most celebrated Christmas Markets. Browse beautifully crafted Yuletide gifts, handmade decorations and unique artisan products from traditional wooden chalets, while sampling an array of mouth-watering international food and festive drinks. Soak up the magical atmosphere as the city streets sparkle with twinkling lights, seasonal entertainment and the aroma of roasted chestnuts and mulled wine. With time to explore at leisure, you may also wish to discover Manchester's diverse range of fascinating museums and galleries or simply relax in one of the city's many cafés before we begin our journey home late afternoon.
