Day One
We travel south to the city of Bristol where we check-in to our hotel and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Why not venture back to the Dockyard to discover Brunel's SS Great Britain, said to be the ship that changed the world or simply have a wonder around the excellent shopping areas.
Day Two
Today we visit one of the UK's most popular visitor attractions, Longleat House and Safari Park, where we include a drive through the six and a half miles of Safari Park, giving you an opportunity to see some truly amazing animals such as Lions, Tigers, Rhinos and Giraffes. The remainder of the day will be at leisure to explore the other excellent attractions at Longleat including the house itself, regarded as one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain, the world famous hedge maze, Longleat Railway and Safari Boats.
BDay Three
Our excursion today takes us to the beautiful city of Bath, where you will have the opportunity to explore the most renowned parts of the ancient city, which are conveniently concentrated in the compact city centre. These include the historic Roman Baths and Pump Room, the architectural splendour of Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge over the Avon. You may also wish to take a boat trip on the river or enjoy an open top bus tour of the city centre to learn all about the history of this fascinating city. There are also a fine selection of shops and a good choice of cafés and restaurants.
BDay Four
This morning, we depart our hotel to board a Bristol Packet boat for a tour of the city docks with a live and entertaining commentary to see the sights of Bristol and learn about the city's history and culture. Following our cruise, we will re-join our coach and begin our journey home.
