Return Dover to Dunkirk ferry crossings
Return coach travel from your local pick up point
Day One
Early morning departure for a journey south to Dover, where we board a ferry to cross the channel to Dunkirk. Upon arrival, we continue our journey to Belgium, arriving at the delightful city of Brugge early evening.
Day Two
Today we explore the charming city of Ghent, often celebrated as Belgium's "Flower Capital." Along the Graslei and Korenlei quays, elegant rows of historic houses showcase a remarkable blend of architectural styles, their ornate facades reflecting centuries of prosperity. Towering above the city stands the formidable Castle of the Counts, a moated fortress built in 1180 that vividly recalls Ghent's turbulent medieval past. Equally unmissable is St. Bavo's Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque and Gothic design, where you can admire its vast crypt, soaring tower and richly decorated interior adorned with extraordinary works of art.
BDay Three
A day at leisure to discover the medieval charm of Brugge at your own pace. Glide through cobblestone streets on a horse-drawn carriage, passing centuries-old churches and enchanting squares, with the scent of chocolate drifting from artisanal shops and the delicate artistry of lace on display. Or, choose a serene boat ride along the winding canals, where reflections of gabled houses ripple in the water and the city's quiet beauty surrounds you. Often called the 'Venice of the North,' Brugge awaits with timeless elegance and discovery.
BDay Four
This morning we check out from our hotel and bid farewell to Brugge as we make our way to Dunkirk for our return ferry crossing to Dover. After disembarking the ferry, we continue our journey home to North Wales.
