This historic and vibrant market boasts over 400 stalls offering an incredible variety of goods, from fresh local produce and delicious groceries to stylish clothing, beautiful jewellery, and handy household items. Travel Arrangements

We begin our journey to the historic town of Bury, arriving around 10:00. On arrival, you’ll step aboard one of the East Lancashire Railway’s vintage steam trains, a charming reminder of a bygone era. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a scenic round-trip north to the market town of Rawtenstall. As the train winds its way through the picturesque Lancashire countryside, you’ll take in rolling hills, quaint villages, and stunning rural landscapes.

In the afternoon, we’ll return to Bury, where you’ll have time to grab a bite to eat and explore the renowned Bury Market. With over 400 stalls offering everything from fresh produce to unique finds, this bustling market is a treasure trove waiting to be discovered. Whether you’re shopping for souvenirs or simply soaking up the vibrant atmosphere, there’s something here for everyone.

Later in the day, we’ll rejoin the coach and begin our journey back to North Wales, reflecting on a delightful day filled with heritage and discovery.
