Day One
We set off from North Wales in the morning and begin our journey south. Once checked-in to the hotel the remainder of the day is at your leisure.
DDay Two
Embark on a morning excursion to Holkham Hall, a grand 18th-century Palladian estate commissioned by the 1st Earl of Leicester, enveloped within 25,000 acres of picturesque parkland. The current Earl and his family warmly open their doors, extending an invitation to explore this architectural marvel during a guided tour. Step into the exquisite Marble Hall, adorned with a soaring 50ft dome ceiling and walls crafted from English alabaster. As you ascend the ornate staircase, discover state rooms boasting opulent saloons, sumptuous bedchambers, and dining areas graced with exquisite porcelain. The Old Kitchen offers a delightful glimpse into culinary history, showcasing polished copper pots and pans. Surrounding the hall, the beautiful gardens and parkland create a breathtaking backdrop, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
B, DDay Three
Today we head to Sheringham for a journey on the enchanting North Norfolk Railway. Nestled amidst the idyllic Norfolk countryside, this heritage railway brings history to life as you travel through picturesque landscapes that encompass picturesque villages, rolling meadows, and breathtaking coastal vistas from the comfort of the meticulously restored vintage carriages. After our journey, enjoy some time at leisure in Sheringham, a popular seaside town with a sandy beach, seafront promenade and a diverse range of shops. This afternoon we continue to Cromer, a charming seaside town renowned for its beautiful sandy beaches and a historic pier.
B, DDay Four
We visit Cambridge, where upon arrival we embark on a delightful punting tour along the tranquil river Cam. Sit back and relax while enjoying a serene journey past some of the city's most iconic landmarks and attractions, including the University of Cambridge, Trinity College, and Trinity Hall. The remainder of the day will be at leisure in Cambridge for you to discover this historic city at your own pace.
B, DDay Five
After we Check-out of the hotel we'll begin our journey back home to North Wales
