Our adventure continues with a visit to the renowned National Stud in Newmarket, where you will enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at this world-famous thoroughbred stud farm and witness the impressive Newmarket Gallops, where you can watch some of the 3,000 racehorses in training. Rounding off our journey, we step into the grandeur of Burghley House, one of England's most magnificent Elizabethan estates, known for its opulent interiors and breathtaking grounds.

Day One

We travel south to the picturesque county of Cambridgeshire, arriving at the Delta Hotels Huntingdon, where we will settle in for the next three nights. Take advantage of the hotel's excellent leisure facilities before indulging in a delightful evening meal.

Day Two

We arrive in Cambridge and begin our visit with a charming punting tour along the peaceful River Cam. Sit back, relax and take in the tranquil surroundings as we glide past some of the city's most iconic landmarks and attractions. After our serene river journey, we embark on a guided walking tour through the historic streets of Cambridge, where we will explore the rich history of this remarkable city, with its world-renowned University and the prestigious colleges that shape its heart.

Day Three

This morning we head to Newmarket for a guided tour of the National Stud offering an up-close look at the famous Newmarket Gallops, where you will witness thoroughbreds in training. During the tour, you will gain a fascinating insight into the dedication and expertise involved in breeding future champions of the turf. In the afternoon, we visit the historic city of Ely, home to one of England's largest and most stunning cathedrals. Steeped in history, Ely boasts a wealth of charming historic buildings and a picturesque waterside area, perfect for a leisurely riverside stroll.

Day Four

Today we explore the grandeur of Burghley House, one of England's finest Elizabethan estates, renowned for its magnificent interiors and expansive, beautifully landscaped grounds. The estate is also famed for hosting the prestigious Burghley Horse Trials every autumn. After our memorable visit, we begin our journey back to North Wales.
