Day One
We travel to Holyhead for our Irish Sea crossing to Dublin Port, then we continue on to Cork and The Metropole Hotel in the centre of Cork, where we stay for the next three nights.
Day Two
Today we travel to the magnificent Blarney Castle & Gardens, one of Ireland's most treasured landmarks. Built nearly 600 years ago, the medieval stronghold is home to the world-famous Blarney Stone, where visitors have long queued to kiss the legendary stone and receive the fabled gift of eloquence. Beyond the castle, take time to wander through the beautifully landscaped gardens, featuring tranquil lakes, ancient trees, colourful borders, hidden caves and the Poison Garden, making this one of Ireland's most captivating estate gardens.
This afternoon, we return to Cork. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure exploring its charming streets, browsing the English Market, relaxing at one of its many cafés or simply soaking up the city's unique character.
Day Three
This morning we travel to the historic harbour town of Cobh for a visit to the Titanic Experience. Housed in the original White Star Line Ticket Office, this immersive attraction stands in the very building where the last passengers boarded before RMS Titanic made its final call in April 1912. Through interactive exhibits and personal stories, discover the experiences of the passengers who embarked on the ill-fated voyage and learn about Cobh's important role in one of history's most famous maritime events.
This afternoon we continue to the renowned Jameson Distillery Midleton, the home of Jameson Irish Whiskey. Enjoy a guided tour through the historic distillery, where you will discover the craftsmanship, tradition and innovation behind one of Ireland's most celebrated whiskey brands. Learn about the distilling process, explore the beautifully restored buildings and hear the fascinating story of Jameson's rich heritage before concluding with a signature whiskey tasting.
Day Four
We check out this morning and head back to Dublin for our return afternoon sailing to Holyhead and home to North Wales.
