Day One

Our journey south towards Cardiff takes us via Hereford, Ross on Wye, Monmouth, and Newport, arriving in Cardiff early afternoon for check in to the Hilton Cardiff Hotel. Be sure to take a walk around the city to see the Cardiff Christmas lights or explore the Cardiff Winter Wonderland which usually includes festive food and drink stalls, it’s a fantastic place to get into the holiday spirit.

Day Two

Enjoy a day at leisure in Cardiff to explore the city at your own pace and take in all the festive decorations and attractions. Start your weekend by visiting the Cardiff Christmas Market, usually held in the city centre, you can browse through various stalls selling unique gifts, crafts, and delicious festive treats. For a more cultural attraction, explore the historic Cardiff Castle, which often hosts special Christmas events and decorations. The castle’s grounds and interiors are beautifully adorned for the holiday season. For those looking to do some Christmas shopping, Cardiff boasts a wide range of shops and department stores, including St. David’s Shopping Centre, where you can pick up last-minute Christmas gifts. For a more relaxed day, stroll around Cardiff Bay and enjoy waterfront views, the Bay is often beautifully illuminated during the Christmas season, creating a magical atmosphere.

Day Three

A further morning at leisure. Afternoon departure from the hotel for our journey back to North Wales.
