Day One
Today we depart from our local area and travel south via the motorways to Cornwall where we stay for the next four nights at the Luxurious Carlyon Bay Hotel
DDay Two
A morning visit the charming harbour town of Padstow, nestled on the Camel Estuary. This traditional Cornish fishing port boasts a vibrant harbour, medieval houses, and quaint streets filled with shops and cafes. Later this afternoon we travel through unspoilt countryside to the small fishing village of Port Isaac, known as Port Wenn in the popular Doc Martin television series. Located on Cornwall's rugged North Atlantic coast, spend time exploring Port Isaac's quirky corners, historic buildings and medieval village centre.
B, DDay Three
We begin the day by travelling to the picture postcard fishing village of Polperro. This traditional Cornish fishing village enjoys traffic free lanes with a picturesque harbour along with interesting shops, cafes and restaurants. From here we continue to Looe, a charming seaside town divided by the River Looe into East and West. Looe boasts a bustling fishing port, sandy beaches, and a lively town center filled with shops, cafes, and galleries. Stroll along the waterfront, explore the historic streets, or simply relax and take in the scenic views of the coastline.
B, DDay Four
This morning, we visit the historic smugglers' haven of Mevagissey, a true Cornish gem with its maze of narrow alleyways, colour-washed houses, and charming small coves. Soak in the atmosphere of this picturesque fishing village as you explore its hidden corners and waterfront. We return to Carlyon Bay in the early afternoon, where you'll have the opportunity to unwind and enjoy the luxurious surroundings of the Hotel. Alternatively, you can join us for a visit to the nearby market town of St. Austell.
B, DDay Five
We check out of our hotel after a relaxing breakfast and begin the jounrney home.
