Experience the spectacular Hampton Court Tulip Festival, home to the UK’s largest display of planted tulips, where over 100,000 blooms create a stunning tapestry of colour. Take a leisurely stroll through the palace gardens and courtyards, admiring the beautiful displays and an impressive array of historic, rare and specialist tulip varieties, all set against the magnificent backdrop of Hampton Court Palace.

We will also visit the beautiful RHS Garden Wisley, the historic home of the Royal Horticultural Society and one of Britain’s most celebrated gardens. Explore its extensive plant collections, beautifully designed borders, tranquil woodland walks and impressive glasshouse, home to an array of exotic and unusual plants.

The Hilton Reading is modern and contemporary hotel situated on the outskirts of Reading. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, television, telephone, mini bar, iron / ironing board, hairdryer and tea / coffee making facilities. The hotel also features a restaurant and bar plus a leisure club with indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Lift to all floors.

Day One

We travel south via the motorway network to the Royal Borough of Windsor, with its magnificent castle that has been a Royal Palace and fortress for over 900 years that presides over this charming town, where cobbled streets meander past a wealth of historic buildings. Why not visit the castle and explore its exquisite grounds, immerse yourself in the grandeur of the State Apartments and visit the hallowed St. George's Chapel, the resting place of kings and queens. Perhaps consider a panoramic adventure on an open-top bus tour, a leisurely carriage ride through the scenic Windsor Great Park or a serene cruise on the picturesque River Thames. We bid farewell to Windsor in the late afternoon and continue our southward journey to the outskirts of Reading and check in to the Hilton Reading Hotel where we stay for the next two nights.

Day Two

This morning we travel to Hampton Court Palace for the annual Hampton Court Tulip Festival, where the historic palace gardens and courtyards are transformed into a spectacular kaleidoscope of colour. With thousands of tulips in bloom, enjoy the vibrant displays and discover an impressive variety of tulip shapes, colours and styles throughout the grounds. Our ticket also includes entry to the Palace, giving you the opportunity to step back in time and walk in the footsteps of Tudor courtiers. Explore the magnificent State Apartments, grand halls and historic rooms, while discovering the fascinating stories, characters and events that have shaped this remarkable royal residence.

Day Three

This morning we check out of our hotel and embark on a captivating visit to RHS Wisley Gardens. Undoubtedly one of the great gardens of the world, RHS Garden Wisley is home to some of the largest plant collections anywhere in the globe. Known for their year-round enchanting beauty and breathtaking floral showcases, these world-renowned gardens are sure to ignite your imagination. You'll be entranced by their richly planted borders, enchanting rose gardens, and state-of-the-art Glasshouses. We depart mid-afternoon and commence our homeward journey.
