Day One
We journey south via the motorway network to the outskirts of London and check in to the Delta by Marriott Heathrow/Windsor Hotel where we stay for the next two nights.
DDay Two
This morning we visit Windsor, where cobbled streets wind through a landscape of historic treasures including its magnificent castle that has been a Royal Palace and fortress for over 900 years. Perhaps visit the castle and explore its exquisite grounds, maybe consider a panoramic adventure on an open-top bus tour or enjoy a leisurely cruise on the picturesque River Thames. This afternoon we travel to Hampton Court Palace for their annual Hampton Court Tulip Festival. See the palace become a kaleidoscope of colour as thousands of tulips bloom throughout the gardens and the courtyards. Our ticket also includes entry into the Palace and Gardens, where you can walk in the footsteps of Tudor courtiers and discover the magnificent State Apartments and the wonders of this majestic building and the stories behind them.
B, DDay Three
This morning we check out of our hotel and embark on a captivating visit to RHS Wisley Gardens. Undoubtedly one of the great gardens of the world, RHS Garden Wisley is home to some of the largest plant collections anywhere in the globe. Known for their year-round enchanting beauty and breathtaking floral showcases, these world-renowned gardens are sure to ignite your imagination. You'll be entranced by their richly planted borders, enchanting rose gardens, and state-of-the-art Glasshouses. We depart mid-afternoon and commence our homeward journey.
