Return coach travel from your local pick up point
Day One
We travel south via the motorway system to Portsmouth where we board a ferry and sail across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. On arrival we continue on to the Trouville Hotel in Sandown where we stay for the next four nights on our ‘Mock Cruise’ themed break. Settle into your ‘cabin’ as we set sail to our first destination, Paris. Following our evening meal, we enjoy Cabaret entertainment provided by a local dance school, taking inspiration from the destinations we will be visiting this week.
Day Two
Today we travel to Godshill, a quintessential English village with its delightful thatched cottages, medieval church and model village. After some time at leisure to explore Godshill, we travel the short distance to Shanklin. Browse the unique shops in the Old Village, enjoy lunch in one of the many cafes and uncover the town's fascinating history. We return to the hotel to prepare for a special evening when we dress to impress for a drinks reception with the captain to celebrate our cruise’s arrival in New York. After dinner, the ballroom comes alive with an evening of entertainment, bringing a memorable day to a perfect close.
B, DDay Three
Today we explore Ryde, the island’s largest town and fondly known as the ‘Gateway to the Isle.’ Renowned for its elegant esplanade, charming Georgian and Victorian architecture and iconic half-mile pier, Ryde offers plenty to discover. After some leisure time to enjoy its many attractions, we return to the hotel for an afternoon session of Bingo. This evening, following a delightful dinner, there will be a lively ‘Round the World’ quiz, filled with fun and excitement to perfectly end your day.
Day Four
A full day excursion travelling along the island’s stunning south coast, passing through Ventnor to visit Alum Bay, home to the iconic multi-coloured sand cliffs, otherwise known as the Needles. Here you can take the Needles chairlift which operates from the clifftop all the way down to the beach below where you can see the Needles Rocks and Trinity Lighthouse, the Island's most famous landmark. Our journey continues through the historic harbour town of Yarmouth to Cowes, Britain’s yachting capital, located at the mouth of the River Medina. Explore the boutique shops or admire the town’s elegant Victorian-era architecture. After some free time to discover Cowes, we return to the hotel as our mock cruise reaches Montego Bay, Jamaica. This evening, we gather in the ballroom for a farewell party, the perfect finale to our unforgettable journey.
B, DDay Five
After breakfast this morning we check-out and travel back to catch our return ferry crossing to Portsmouth. From here we join the motorway systems and continue on home to North Wales.
