Lake Annecy & The French Alps

Lake Annecy & The French Alps

Embark on an unforgettable journey from the serene waters of Lake Annecy to the dramatic peaks of Chamonix, and beyond. Known as the "Pearl of the French Alps," Lake Annecy is famed for its crystal-clear waters and enchanting alpine surroundings. The lake's pristine environment offers ample opportunities for leisurely strolls and cruising along the lake. Overlooked by a magnificent medieval Château d’Annecy, wander through the Old Towns narrow streets, stroll over flower-bedecked bridges, and admire the meandering canals. Lake Annecy presents a perfect blend of natural beauty and charming French culture.

Next, we venture to the iconic town of Chamonix, situated at the base of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in the Alps. Here, you'll have the chance to ride the famous Mer de Glace train, a scenic railway that ascends to one of the largest glaciers in Europe. The Mer de Glace, or "Sea of Ice," offers spectacular views of the icy expanse and the surrounding mountains. This experience combines both thrill and awe, showcasing the raw beauty of the alpine landscape.

Our journey continues when we visit the charming town of Yvoire. From here, we board a relaxing cruise and cross over the border to Geneva, Switzerland. As you glide across the tranquil waters of Lake Geneva, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the Swiss and French Alps and the picturesque villages that line the lake's shores. This leisurely cruise is the perfect way to soak in the beauty of the region and unwind in a serene setting.
