Lanterns at Chester Zoo
Join us for a fabulous day trip to Chester Zoo & The Lanterns, where one of the UK's most visited zoos transforms into a spectacular wonderland! Our adventure begins with a leisurely stroll around the 128-acre zoo, home to over 500 different species, including some of the most exotic and endangered animals in the world. There is plenty to explore within the enclosures and gardens.
As dusk falls, witness the zoo in a whole new light on an illuminated trail featuring spectacular scenes and breathtaking displays. Journey through vibrant lands where orangutans, elephants, and lions roam, and marvel at the brand-new animal puppets, including Red Pandas, Meerkats, Snow Leopards, and Peacocks. Dance through the glowing tunnel of lights, wander around the impressive fire garden, indulge in festive treats from the Christmas food markets and toast marshmallows to complete your magical evening. The Lanterns will fill you with Christmas joy and create plenty of precious memories.

Travel Arrangements
We travel to Chester Zoo arriving at approximately 12:30 where admission is included to explore this fantastic attraction and see all the wonderful animals. At 16:15 watch the zoo transform into a spectacular wonderland, full of sparkle, illumination and plenty of cheer with some of your favourite animal lanterns and characters from Christmases gone by, illuminate the zoo and fill you with Christmas joy. We depart Chester Zoo this evening and begin our return journey home to North Wales.
