Day One

We depart from North Wales in the early hours, making our way south to Dover for our ferry crossing to Calais. From Calais, we continue our journey to Liège, Belgium, where we’ll check in at the Radisson Liège City Centre for a comfortable stay. After settling in, enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure—perhaps dine at one of the city’s excellent restaurants or explore the local nightlife.

Day Two

A full day to enjoy the festive atmosphere of Liège. At Place Saint-Lambert, you’ll find the heart of the city’s Christmas market, with dazzling lights and the warm scent of seasonal treats filling the air. Wander through the charming stalls, explore the historic streets, and soak in the holiday cheer. You may also choose to visit the famous Liège Christmas Village, where you can pick up unique gifts and indulge in local specialties.

Day Three

Today we travel to Aachen, Germany, for a full day at their renowned Christmas Market. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Aachen Cathedral, the market offers a true winter wonderland experience. Browse through the stalls, enjoy the delicious aromas of local treats like Printen (Aachen's famous gingerbread), and soak up the festive atmosphere. There’s plenty of time to explore the market and perhaps enjoy some of the city's other sights.

Day Four

A visit to the Valkenburg Christmas Market in the Netherlands, where we’ll explore the unique Municipal Cave and Velvet Cave. Enjoy up to 1.5 hours in each of these stunning, illuminated caves, browsing for handcrafted gifts and seasonal delicacies. The Valkenburg Christmas Market is one of the most magical in Europe, set in a fairy-tale location that offers an unforgettable experience.

Day Five

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our journey home, taking our return ferry from Calais to Dover and travelling back to North Wales.
