Discover magnificent castles, historic cities and beautiful countryside on this three-day break, staying in the heart of Lincoln.

Our journey begins with a visit to impressive Belvoir Castle, where there will be time to explore the Castle and Gardens before continuing to Lincoln. The following day, enjoy a private open-top bus sightseeing tour of Lincoln, followed by free time to discover this fascinating cathedral city at your own pace.

On our journey home, we travel into the beautiful Peak District for a leisurely visit to Bakewell, with time to browse the independent shops, enjoy lunch and soak up the charm of this picturesque market town.

Day One

Departing from our local pick-up points, we journey to magnificent Belvoir Castle. There will be time for lunch before exploring the impressive Castle and Gardens. Later, we continue to Lincoln and check into the DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln, our home for the next two nights.

Day Two

Following breakfast, we enjoy a private sightseeing tour of Lincoln by open-top bus, taking us around the city’s sightseeing circuit and offering a fascinating introduction to its history and landmarks along the way. Afterwards, the remainder of the day is free to explore Lincoln at your own pace. Perhaps visit magnificent Lincoln Cathedral or Lincoln Castle, browse the shops and historic streets around Bailgate, or enjoy some time beside Brayford Waterfront.

Day Three

After breakfast, we check out and journey into the beautiful Peak District, arriving in the picturesque market town of Bakewell. Enjoy free time to explore the town, browse its independent shops, stroll along the riverside and perhaps sample its famous sweet treat. After time for lunch, we rejoin the coach and commence our homeward journey.
