Experience the magic of Longleats spectacular Festival of Light, where over 1,000 lanterns transform the famous estate into a dazzling winter wonderland. Journey through enchanting worlds of myths and legends, discover the lost city of Atlantis, walk beneath a life-sized blue whale and marvel at incredible illuminated displays, including Thors battle with the World Serpent. See the estate come alive with breathtaking lights, festive decorations and the magnificent 15-metre Enchanted Christmas Tree, where twinkling lights dance in time to festive carols. Also included is a drive around Longleats renowned Safari Park, home to lions, tigers, rhinos and many other fascinating animals. Plus we venture into the iconic Longleat House, where a guided tour awaits, revealing its storied history and dazzling musical displays.
Based in the vibrant city of Bristol, there will be free time to explore the city's popular Christmas Market, packed with festive treats, unique gifts and seasonal entertainment. We also visit the renowned Gloucester Quays Christmas Market, where over 120 chalets line the historic docks, creating a magical festive atmosphere with sparkling lights, seasonal shopping and delicious food and drink.
Centrally located overlooking Bristols Temple Gardens and within walking distance of many attractions. All bedrooms feature a light contemporary décor with walk in shower, air-conditioning, television, radio, telephone, Wi-Fi, iron/ironing board, fridge, hairdryer, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel also features a lounge bar, restaurant and terrace. Lift to all floors.

Day One
We travel south to Bristol arriving in the early afternoon. Free time follows to commence exploring the city and its attractions. Browse the Christmas market with its unique gift ideas, homemade crafts and German-themed food and drink like Glühwein and Bratwurst on offer. Perhaps visit the cathedral and maybe Brunel’s SS Great Britain, and explore the narrow cobbled streets and magnificent buildings of Bristol's original old town. This evening why not enjoy dinner in one of the many restaurants within the City Centre.
Day Two
We spend the day at the magnificent Longleat Estate and Safari Park at Warminster where you can enjoy incredibly close encounters with some of the world’s most amazing animals and uncover the treasures of historic Longleat House. As darkness falls, the park is transformed into a magical winter wonderland by incredible illuminated displays set within over 30 acres of splendid 'Capability' Brown landscaped grounds.
BDay Three
This morning we check out and travel to the nearby Gloucester Quays Christmas Market. Nestled around an ice rink in Orchard Square, the market features live entertainment alongside traditional chalets selling high quality food, drink and unique festive gifts that you won’t find on the high street. We depart mid-afternoon and commence our homeward journey.
