One of the larger vessels in the A-ROSA fleet, A-ROSA DONNA offers a relaxing way to cruise the Danube and enjoy life on one of the longest rivers in Europe. Facilities onboard this modern vessel include a spacious sundeck with heated swimming pool, sun loungers and a putting green. The main restaurant offers panoramic views across the river with a varied menu of authentic dishes and international cuisine. The relaxing lounge is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee in the daytime and a relaxing drink in the evenings. Facilities also include a gym, plus the SPA-ROSA where you can experience treatments using local products and let all your senses be pampered.
All cabins feature a safe, air conditioning, television, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer and bathroom with shower. Cabins with a private Juliette Balcony are available on higher deck 2, ensuring the spectacular river views come with you all the way along the Danube.

Day One
Early departure for our journey south to Dover for a ferry crossing to Calais. We then continue on to our overnight hotel in Lille.
Day Two
We depart our hotel in Lille and continue our journey though France and into Germany to the city of Frankfurt for our second overnight stay.
BDay Three
After breakfast we depart our hotel in Frankfurt and travel to the pretty riverside town of Engelhartszell in Austria, where we board our A-ROSA DONNA cruise for the next seven nights. After settling into your cabin enjoy dinner this evening as we set sail and cruise towards Vienna.
Day Four
Today we arrive in Vienna in the early afternoon and spend a full day experiencing the delights of this UNESCO World Heritage City. Visit some of Vienna’s most historic sites including the Grand palaces, baroque castles, magnificent squares and the striking monuments, just some of the key features of this beautiful city. We overnight in Vienna allowing you to enjoy a magical evening in the city lit up in all its glory.
B, L, DDay Five
Today there will be some further free time in Vienna, why not spend a morning in one of Vienna's grand coffee houses or visit Belvedere Palace, a must see for all art lovers! We depart Vienna this evening and set sail overnight towards Esztergom, once the capital of Hungary.
B, L, DDay Six
This morning we arrive in Esztergom, sitting on the banks of the Danube and surrounded by rural countryside making it one of the more picturesque stretches of the River Danube and dominated by the Basilica of Esztergom. Here we take a ride on the quaint mini train to this striking neoclassical green domed basilica, home to the largest single canvas painting in the world. Following our visit to the basilica we make our way back to our cruise and sail towards Budapest, known as the ‘Pearl of the Danube’ and full of grand imperial buildings, dramatic history and contrasting scenery. This evening we enjoy an excursion to experience Budapest by Night, where the view from Castle Hill of the Danube is one not to miss!
B, L, DDay Seven
We enjoy some further free time in Budapest before we sail again this afternoon where there will be time to make use of the cruises’ fantastic facilities as we travel overnight towards Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
B, L, DDay Eight
We arrive in Bratislava in the morning where there will be some free time to explore this city which is dominated by its castle and unique suspension bridge. The medieval old town is a joy to explore with cobbled streets and maze-like alleyways. This afternoon we cast off from Bratislava where there will be plenty of time to relax and maybe treat yourself to a spa treatment as sail overnight towards Wachau Valley.
Day Nine
This morning we arrive in the Austrian town of Krems where we will enjoy a visit to Dürnstein, which nestles among Austria's most famous vineyards. Here we have admission included to visit the striking Dürnstein Abbey, followed by a visit to the pretty pastel-painted Benedictine Melk Abbey. From here we rejoin our cruise this afternoon as we set sail for the final time back to Engelhartszell.
Day Ten
We disembark this morning at Engelhartszell and begin our return journey by coach through Austria and into Germany and onto our overnight hotel in Frankfurt.
B, DDay Eleven
Today we continue our journey through Germany and return to France and head to Lille for our final overnight stay.
BDay Twelve
Today we check out of our hotel in Lille and continue to Calais for our return ferry crossing to Dover and on home to North Wales.
