Travel Arrangements
We travel to Manchester, arriving Bridgewater Gardens around 11:00. Upon arrival, you will have time at leisure to explore the extensive 150 acre RHS Bridgewater Gardens. Designed by acclaimed landscape architect Tom Stuart-Smith, RHS Bridgewater offers a diverse array of horticultural experiences where you can explore a variety of themed gardens, including the Kitchen Garden, Wellbeing Garden, and Paradise Garden, each showcasing unique plant collections and design concepts. The site features a beautiful lake, woodlands, and meadows, providing a picturesque backdrop for leisurely strolls and tranquil contemplation.
We leave RHS Bridgewater early afternoon and make the short journey to Worsley, where we board the Francis Egerton canal cruiser for a delightful 2 hour cruise along the Bridgewater Canal. Relax as you enjoy the picturesque views of the Historic Bridgewater Canal whilst enjoying a delicious Afternoon Tea.
Following our cruise, we board the coach and begin our journey home to North Wales.
