Day One
We will travel to Folkestone for our Eurotunnel crossing to Calais, before continuing onwards to Brugge for an overnight stay. On arrival, there will be time to enjoy this charming and picturesque city, whether relaxing in a café, browsing local shops or simply taking in the peaceful surroundings. We will then enjoy a restful night’s stay ahead of the journey.
Day Two
After breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and travel to Cologne, where we will board the Amadeus Brilliant for our seven-night river cruise. Settle into your cabin and take time to explore the ship as we prepare to begin our journey along the river.
B, DDay Three
We will arrive in Cochem, where a guided walking tour is included, along with admission to Reichsburg Castle. After time ashore, we will return to the ship and sail along the Moselle, continuing overnight to Bernkastel-Kues.
B, L, DDay Four
We will arrive in Bernkastel-Kues, where a guided walking tour is included, along with a wine tasting. After time ashore, we will return to the ship and sail on to Saarburg, arriving later this evening.
B, L, DDay Five
We will have free time in Saarburg, a charming town in Germany near the Luxembourg border, where you can explore at leisure, with its riverside setting and distinctive waterfall. Later this afternoon, we will return to the ship and continue to Saarlouis, arriving this evening.
B, L, DDay Six
This morning, we will enjoy a guided tour of Saarlouis, a town in Germany known for its French-influenced heritage. Later in the afternoon, we will return to the ship and sail on to Grevenmacher, a charming riverside town set in the heart of the Luxembourg Moselle region.
B, L, DDay Seven
We will enjoy a guided tour of Grevenmacher and the Luxembourg Moselle, known for its scenic vineyards and riverside setting. We will then continue to Trier, where there will be free time to explore at leisure before returning to the ship this evening and travelling on to Koblenz.
B, L, DDay Eight
We will arrive in Koblenz this afternoon, a historic town in Germany located at the meeting point of the Rhine and Moselle rivers, where a wine and sparkling wine tasting experience is included. After time ashore, we will return to the ship and sail overnight back to Cologne.
B, L, DDay Nine
We will arrive in Cologne early this morning. After disembarkation, we will rejoin our coach and begin our return journey to Brugge for an overnight stay.
BDay Ten
After breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and travel to Calais for our Eurotunnel crossing back to Folkestone, before continuing on home to North Wales.
