Embark on an unforgettable holiday where majestic mountain scenery, iconic rail journeys and charming alpine towns await. Our adventure begins in the elegant lakeside town of Montreux, nestled at the foot of the Alps, where you will have time to soak in its Belle Époque charm and stunning views of Lake Geneva.
The highlight of our holiday is an awe-inspiring journey aboard the legendary Glacier Express, the worlds slowest express train and one of the most scenic railways on the planet. Sit back in comfort as we glide through deep valleys, across dramatic bridges and through the peaks of the Swiss Alps. From the dizzying heights of the Oberalp Pass to the awe-inspiring Rhine Gorge, this seven-and-a-half-hour journey is a masterpiece of rail travel.
We also venture to Zermatt, where the Gornergrat Railway climbs over 10,000 feet to panoramic views of the Matterhorn and surrounding summits. With time to explore both stylish resorts and serene villages, plus a visit to Liechtensteins capital, Vaduz, this is the ultimate alpine escape blending scenic splendour with Swiss sophistication at every turn.
