Speke Hall & Liverpool Cathedral
Enjoy a fascinating day out to Liverpool, beginning with a visit to the historic Speke Hall. This striking Tudor manor house, surrounded by beautiful gardens and woodland, offers a wonderful glimpse into centuries of history. During our visit, there will be time to explore the grounds at leisure, take in the black and white timbered exterior, and discover the stories hidden within its richly decorated interiors.
Later, we continue to Liverpool’s vibrant Albert Dock, where you will have free time to relax and enjoy the lively waterfront setting. Browse the independent shops, soak up the atmosphere along the quayside, or choose from the many cafés and restaurants for a bite to eat.
We round off the day with a guided tour of the magnificent Liverpool Cathedral. One of the largest cathedrals in the world, its vast interior, soaring arches and stunning stained glass create a truly unforgettable experience. A memorable and varied day combining heritage, culture and iconic city sights.

Once you have boarded our coach at your selected pick up point, we travel to Liverpool for our first visit of the day, the historic Speke Hall. On arrival, you will have time to explore this magnificent Tudor manor house and its beautiful grounds at leisure. Discover the fascinating history of the estate, admire the distinctive timber framed exterior, and enjoy a stroll through the surrounding gardens and woodland.
We then continue to the lively Albert Dock, where the afternoon is free to relax and enjoy the vibrant waterfront setting. Take the opportunity to browse the shops, enjoy lunch in one of the many cafés or restaurants, or simply soak up the atmosphere along the historic quayside.
Later, we make our way to Liverpool Cathedral for a guided tour of this impressive and iconic landmark. Learn about its remarkable architecture and history as you explore the vast interior, before re joining the coach for our journey home after a memorable day in Liverpool.
