Located just 500 metres from Torquay Seafront, the Derwent hotel is part of the TLH leisure resort comprising of four hotels. All bedrooms at the Derwent hotel feature satellite television, Wi-Fi, telephone, radio and tea / coffee making facilities. Other facilities available include a restaurant and bar, plus the Starlight Lounge which offers great nightly entertainment shows and live music. Day One
We travel south via the motorway network to the West Country, arriving in Torquay in the late afternoon for check in to the Derwent Hotel.
DDay Two
A day at leisure to relax and explore the resort.
B, DDay Three
Today we spend a delightful day in the vibrant city of Plymouth, renowned for its rich maritime heritage. Discover the iconic Hoe, with its striking memorials and the statue of Sir Francis Drake, then explore the historic Citadel and the charming Elizabethan Barbican, with its narrow-cobbled streets and inviting cafés.
B, DDay Four
Today begins with a visit to Trago Mills in Newton Abbot, famous for its discounted garden, household & homeware products. It is the perfect place to browse, relax and maybe pick up a special treat. We then continue to Exeter, a city rich in history and charm. Admire the magnificent Exeter Cathedral, wander its quaint streets and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the scenic River Exe. With inviting cafés and a wide range of shops, there's something to suit every taste as you explore this historic Devon city at your own pace.
B, DDay Five
After breakfast we check out of the Derwent Hotel and begin our return journey to North Wales.
