Step into the enchanting realm of the festive season as the magnificent Waddesdon Manor undergoes a breathtaking transformation into a winter wonderland straight out of a fairy tale. Originating from the grandeur of the 1870s, this masterpiece of French Renaissance architecture is adorned with exquisite festive decorations. As twilight descends, witness the gardens come alive with a luminous spectacle. During our visit the Waddesdon Christmas fair will be taking place where charming wooden chalets host a selection of stalls, each brimming with the essence of Christmas, from delightful aromas to hand-made festive gifts.

We will also visit the opulent Windsor Castle, where the spirit of Christmas permeates every corner, showcased through a Victorian Yuletide display that evokes the nostalgia of bygone eras.

And finally, we venture into the heart of London, aglow with the brilliance of Christmas lights adorning its iconic landmarks. Accompanied by a local guide, traverse the bustling streets, marvel at the radiant luminous displays and the sparkling giant Christmas tree, a beacon of joy in Trafalgar Square, before venturing into the lively festive atmosphere of Southbank, where a glittering market and cascading fairy lights create an enchanting scene against the backdrop of the illuminated London Eye.

The Crowne Plaza Reading East Hotel has recently been fully refurbished and is set in landscaped podium gardens. The hotel features two restaurants, a bar, the Esprit Wellness & Spa with a 19m heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room, and an extensive gym with Life Fitness equipment. Day One

We make our way to Waddesdon Manor and discover this spectacular chateau all decked out for Christmas with festive displays throughout the interiors before venturing around the illuminated garden and see the spectacle of the Manor sparkling with dancing lights set to sequenced music. You will also have time to soak up the sights, smells and sounds of Christmas at the Waddesdon Christmas fair with hand-selected stalls housed in charming wooden chalets, surrounded by twinkling trees. We depart late afternoon and travel to the Crowne Plaza Reading East Hotel on the outskirts of Reading where we stay for the next three nights.

Day Two

Today we visit the majestic Windsor Castle and its Victorian Yuletide Christmas display. The castle will be beautifully adorned for Christmas including a magnificent 20 foot high Nordmann Fir tree, taken from Windsor Great Park and dressed with hundreds of iridescent glass and mirrored ornaments. Following our visit to the Castle, there will be some time to explore Windsor and enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many cafes.

Day Three

Today we travel to London where you can visit the superb museums, enjoy a flight on the London Eye giving you a bird's eye view of the city, or spend some time shopping in some of the best shopping areas in the UK, the perfect place to pick up all of your Christmas gifts! You might want to immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, one of the biggest Christmas markets in London. As dusk descends we will be joined by a local guide for a guided tour of London lights on board our coach. Taking you through the heart of the city, you'll get to see London's most iconic landmarks and locations come to life with thousands of sparkling lights, sensational Christmas displays and enough sparkle and glitter to light up the blackened night sky for an evening to remember.

Day Four

After breakfast we check-out and travel to the vibrant Birmingham Christmas Market. Birmingham's market is a sprawling spectacle featuring an array of international stalls, crafts, and delectable cuisine. You'll have the opportunity to explore the market's festive offerings before we continue our home ward journey later in the afternoon.
