The Crowne Plaza Reading East Hotel has recently been fully refurbished and is set in landscaped podium gardens. The hotel features two restaurants, a bar, the Esprit Wellness & Spa with a 19m heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room, and an extensive gym with Life Fitness equipment. Day One

We begin our journey to the heart of the festive season, making our way to the stunning Waddesdon Manor. Upon arrival, take in the breathtaking beauty of this French Renaissance-style chateau, beautifully transformed for Christmas. Wander through the illuminated gardens, where the twinkling lights and festive displays create a magical atmosphere. After some time to explore the Manor and its enchanting surroundings, enjoy the charm of the Waddesdon Christmas Fair, where you can browse handcrafted gifts and sample seasonal treats before we depart late afternoon and travel to the Crowne Plaza Reading East Hotel on the outskirts of Reading.

Day Two

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we head to the magnificent Windsor Castle, one of the oldest and most iconic royal residences in the world. Explore the stunning grounds and interiors at your own pace, or take some time to enjoy the charming town of Windsor, with its quaint shops, cafés, and historic sites. In the evening, we'll head to Windsor Great Park Illuminated, where the park is transformed into a glittering festive display with immersive light installations and enchanting projections. After a magical experience, return to the hotel for a delicious dinner before resting up for the next leg of our journey.

After breakfast and check-out, we begin our journey home, making a delightful stop at the Birmingham Christmas Market along the way. Stroll through this vibrant market, one of the largest and most popular in the UK, where you’ll find an array of festive stalls offering unique gifts, delicious seasonal treats, and warming drinks. Take your time to soak up the festive atmosphere before we continue our journey back home, filled with memories of a magical Christmas adventure.
