Day One
We travel across the Pennines into Yorkshire and on to the medieval city of York where we check in to the Doubletree Hilton York Hotel.
Day Two
Enjoy a day at leisure immersing yourself in the rich history of York. Perhaps visit to the iconic York Minster, one of the largest and most beautiful Gothic cathedrals in the world. Afterward, take a guided walking tour or hop on an open-top sightseeing bus to get an overview of the city's highlights. Stroll along the famous medieval city walls for panoramic views and insights into York's defensive past. Then, lose yourself in the Shambles, a narrow, cobbled street with charming, crooked buildings, now home to quirky shops, cafés and boutiques and finish the day with a relaxing boat trip on the River Ouse, soaking in the sights from a different perspective.
BDay Three
A further free day in York to take in its magnificent sights. Visit the National Railway Museum, home to over 100 historic locomotives and carriages, including royal trains and high-speed legends or maybe take some time to discover York's Chocolate Story, an interactive experience that explores the city's delicious confectionery past. Then head to Clifford's Tower, the last remaining part of York Castle, offering fantastic views over the city. This evening why not enjoy a spooky evening ghost walk, York is said to be one of the most haunted cities in Europe!

We depart in the early afternoon and commence our homeward journey.
