The Hilton York Hotel is ideally situated within the city walls in the centre of York, just a short walk from York Minster and many of the city’s attractions. Day One

We journey across the scenic Pennines into the heart of Yorkshire, arriving in the historic city of York. Upon arrival, we check in to the centrally located Hilton York Hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to discover the city's many medieval landmarks, charming streets and vibrant nightlife at your leisure.

Day Two

Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the many treasures of this remarkable medieval city. You might choose to take a guided sightseeing tour aboard an open-top bus or enjoy a relaxing boat trip along the River Ouse. Marvel at the awe-inspiring York Minster, one of the largest and most magnificent Gothic cathedrals in the world. Stroll along the ancient city walls for panoramic views and wander through the atmospheric "Shambles," a wonderfully preserved medieval street lined with timber-framed buildings that seem to lean into one another. History lovers will enjoy the immersive exhibits at the Castle Museum, complete with a recreated Victorian street, while rail enthusiasts can't miss the world-renowned National Railway Museum, home to over 100 historic locomotives.

Day Three

A further morning at leisure in York, we depart in the early afternoon and commence our homeward journey.
