The enchanting St Nicholas Fayre is Yorks most beloved Christmas Market event, bringing together unique gifts, the finest local produce and a truly magical festive atmosphere. Stroll through more than 100 traditional-style chalets adorned with twinkling fairy lights, meet Victorian-costumed traders, enjoy the sound of carol singers and breathe in the mouth-watering aromas of roasted chestnuts and spiced mulled wine. Its the perfect way to welcome the festive season!
The Queens Hotel is ideally situated in the city centre on the banks of the River Ouse. Facilities include the Royal Brasserie Restaurant and Riverside Bar, all bedrooms feature television, Wi-Fi, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift to all floors.

Day One
We travel across the Pennines into Yorkshire and on to the medieval city of York where we check in to the Queens Hotel.
Day Two
Today will be at leisure to experience the annual St Nicholas Fayre, one of the UK’s most cherished festive events, drawing thousands of visitors from across the country. The city brims with medieval charm as unique stalls line the streets, offering everything from handcrafted decorations and thoughtful gifts to delicious locally made food and drinks. Wander along the cobbled streets, admire the half-timbered houses, take in the grandeur of the Gothic York Minster and perhaps explore some of the city’s excellent museums
Day Three
Enjoy some further free time to fully immerse yourself in the city’s magical festive atmosphere and perhaps treat yourself to lunch at one of the many welcoming bars and restaurants. In the late afternoon, we bid farewell to York and begin our journey home.
