Our day begins with a visit to the Anderton Boat Lift, where you’ll enjoy a tranquil boat cruise along the River Weaver. Experience the unique thrill of being lowered 50 feet between two waterways on the world’s oldest working boat lift—a true marvel of Victorian engineering.
During the cruise, you’ll be treated to lively and informative commentary, uncovering the fascinating history of the "Cathedral of the Canals." The scenic Weaver Navigation, once a bustling commercial route, is now a serene haven for wildlife and a picturesque retreat for all ages.
In the afternoon, we’ll take a short coach journey to Tatton Park. Here, you’ll have free time to explore its magnificent early 18th-century mansion and 50 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Discover the charm of the historic glasshouses, the walled kitchen garden, and the stunning 100-year-old Japanese Garden.

Our day begins as we pick you up at your chosen destination and make our way to Anderton Boat Lift, arriving there at approximately 10:45. We'll the board our boat and enjoy a relaxing cruise and journey on the Anderton Boat Lift.
In the early afternoon we'll make our way over to Tatton Park, where you'll have the remainder of the afternoon to explore at your leisure.
