Day One

We travel over the scenic Cat & Fiddle pass takin in some fantastic views of the Peak District as we journey to Bakewell, a beautiful market town set on the banks of the River Wye in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Probably best known for its association with its Bakewell pudding, the town also boasts many historic buildings, attractive courtyards, independent shops and cafés. We continue to our hotel on the outskirts of Sheffield late afternoon.

Day Two

This morning we travel to Chatsworth House, home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and one of the country's grandest stately homes. Chatsworth House has over 30 rooms to explore, from the magnificent Painted Hall, to the family-used chapel, regal state rooms and beautiful Sculpture Gallery. Chatsworth also houses the Devonshire Collection, one of Europe's most significant art collections. After visiting the house, take time to explore the impressive gardens including the historic Cascade, the Victorian rock garden and the maze.
